About this role

This position is initially voluntary and unpaid. Appointment does not, by itself, create an automatic entitlement to salary, honorarium, allowance or other personal financial compensation. Subject to available funds and approved financial policies, GASWT may reimburse reasonable and properly documented expenses incurred in the legitimate performance of official duties. As GASWT develops its financial capacity, the appropriate governing authority may establish a formal compensation framework.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, International Development, Public Health, Project Management, Community Development, Social Sciences or another relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of programme/project experience.
- Minimum 3 years of programme leadership or management experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and evaluating programmes.
- Experience managing teams, volunteers, beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation and learning.
- Experience developing programme budgets, workplans, timelines and reports.
- Understanding of safeguarding and ethical community engagement.
- Experience working with vulnerable, marginalized or underserved populations.
Preferred experience
- PhD/Doctorate is an advantage but not mandatory.
- International NGO/development experience.
- Donor-funded programme management.
- SDG-related programmes.
- Monitoring and evaluation experience/certification.
- Multi-country programme experience.
