Open worldwide. Experience within established or emerging technology ecosystems in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and other technology hubs is advantageous.

This position is initially voluntary and unpaid. Appointment does not, by itself, create an automatic entitlement to salary, honorarium, allowance or other personal financial compensation. Subject to available funds and approved financial policies, GASWT may reimburse reasonable and properly documented expenses incurred in the legitimate performance of official duties. As GASWT develops its financial capacity, the appropriate governing authority may establish a formal compensation framework.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree, professional qualification or recognized equivalent training in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Digital Transformation, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant technology experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or technical project-management experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technology projects, digital platforms, software, AI systems or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience leading technical teams or multidisciplinary technology projects.
- Understanding of AI and emerging technologies and their application to social development.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility and digital ethics.
- Demonstrable technical portfolio or evidence of significant technology projects.
Preferred experience
- Exceptional candidates with substantial professional expertise, recognized certifications and a strong technical portfolio may be considered without a university degree.
- Master's degree.

- Experience designing accessible and inclusive digital systems.
