About this role
Open worldwide. Experience with an international NGO, professional association, development organization, university, multilateral institution or government/international governance environment is advantageous.

This position is initially voluntary and unpaid. Appointment does not, by itself, create an automatic entitlement to salary, honorarium, allowance or other personal financial compensation. Subject to available funds and approved financial policies, GASWT may reimburse reasonable and properly documented expenses incurred in the legitimate performance of official duties. As GASWT develops its financial capacity, the appropriate governing authority may establish a formal compensation framework.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in social work, Administration, Management, Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Communications or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of senior administrative, managerial or organizational leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating executive-level activities.
- Experience managing organizational records, meetings, governance documentation and official correspondence.
- Experience coordinating teams across departments or geographical locations.
- Experience supporting governing bodies, boards, councils or executive committees is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of governance and institutional procedures.
- Competence with digital administration and collaboration tools.
- Ability to coordinate a complex international organization.
Preferred experience
- A PhD/Doctorate is an advantage but not mandatory.
